Craftsman Deduction and Service Deduction are becoming even more attractive in 2025
From 2025, the craftsman deduction is being reintroduced with the possibility of deducting up to 8,600 DKK per person for certain home improvements. At the same time, we are seeing an increase in the service deduction to 17,500 DKK per person, which expands the opportunities to obtain tax deductions for various home services.

New Green Craftsman Deduction
During the period 2025–2027, a new green craftsman deduction is being introduced, aimed at promoting sustainable renovations and energy improvements in private homes and holiday properties. This includes projects such as energy-saving improvements, improved energy supply and climate-proofing. These initiatives are designed not only to improve the home's energy efficiency, but also to contribute to a more sustainable future.

The Service Deduction
The service deduction, part of the well-known BoligJob scheme, is also being expanded and now covers a wider range of services. This includes:

• General cleaning

  • Window cleaning

  • Childcare

  • General garden work

This gives homeowners a greater incentive to hire professional help for various tasks in and around the home, which can significantly ease everyday life.

The Craftsman Deduction?

• Insulation of roof, ceiling, exterior walls and floor

  • Replacement of glass panes, windows, exterior doors and patio doors

  • Removal of wood-burning stoves

  • Work related to heating systems such as solar panels, heat pumps and district heating units

  • Improvements to ventilation and drainage installations

  • Radon protection

These initiatives support a greener profile and help reduce the home's overall energy consumption.
